Zenni Optical: a fully digitized eyewear catalog

Convex3D digitized Zenni Optical’s entire frame catalog and keeps it current as new frames launch. From those models, on-model imagery is rendered automatically for every SKU — nearly a million images so far.

The whole catalog, kept current

Every frame in the catalog has an accurate 3D model, with each colourway built on it. When Zenni releases new pairs, we model them as they come out, so the digital catalog never falls behind the physical one.

On-model imagery for every SKU

Because every frame already exists in 3D, on-model images are rendered automatically for every SKU rather than shot — nearly a million images to date, consistent from one frame to the next. See how on-model rendering works.

A media library, not just a product feed

Zenni’s own team works directly in the .blend files for media projects. Because every frame is already digitized, they can photograph a celebrity first and add whichever glasses they want afterwards — no waiting on samples, no reshoot. We also take on 3D media projects for them as they come up.

Why it works

Each frame is built once. Every image, video and 3D file after that comes from the same model, so new outputs don’t need new shoots, and changes don’t start from scratch. How catalog digitization works.
